Meet Paul Donegan, our Technical Director, who’s been part of the Mardon team since July 2024.
Bridging the gap between sales and service, Paul’s the one you’ll often find behind the scenes, assessing sites, pulling together quotations, and seeing installs through from start to finish.

Can you introduce yourself and tell us a bit about your role at Mardon Recycling?
My job role involves working closely with both the service and sales department, assisting with any technical questions or concerns. Carrying out site sales assessments then following this up with quotations right through to the install. Assisting the service engineers and making sure they are all performing to their best abilities.
What drew you to work in recycling and sustainability?
As a young teenager, I was always interested in making things and understanding how they worked. From the age of 14, I was taken on for Saturday work at one of the country’s largest manufacturers of waste equipment, then got a full time job once I left school. Every day is different, and I enjoy the challenge.
What is your favourite RamPack baler in our range?
Our CM fully automatic channel baler.
What does a typical day look like for you here?
A mixture of office work, speaking with customers and engineers, and dealing with sales enquiries.
How would you describe the team culture at Mardon?
Very much a family run business feel, you’re very much part of a large team.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I’m a family man who enjoys spending time with my family. My sport is F1, so I make sure I’m sat at home alone to watch it on the TV! 😊
